'93 parts help

call me crazy!!!just finishing my 61 and a friend calls with a 93 coupe he was going to buy and burn the body off...for parts he builds street rods. well the body is perfect aqua metallic coupe 207,000 miles. i couldn't let him do it so i bought it. the engine (original) has stacked bearings....will rebuild same..my question what is th e parts no's for the air bleed pipe assembly (was cut in half) when the heads were removed and wherwe can i find those parts.

If you are talking about the secondary air injection pipe, in the LT-1 motor, that attaches to the rear of the throttle body, and then into the right hand exhaust header. Let me know if that is the hose you are referring to.

I think you are looking for #10108636, which is the air bleeder pipe that runs from head to head. Unfortunately it has not been available from GM since 2003.

yes, it runs between the back of the heads (banjo fittings) then to a hose off the coolant fill tank. i've got a camaro engine with this pipe but it routes along the intake instead of straight to tank.

Those type of parts are almost non-available. Try the Corvette Forum under C-4 Parts. Or try Whites Racing LLC in Florida, (813)264-8353. I have found a lot of obscure parts for my 93 ZR-1. Good luck.

You may be in luck. I was just on Keen Parts website and they list a reproduction of the #10108636 pipe.

I'm really glad that Keen has reproduced the 10108636. This is a part that folks are going to be needing primarily due to corrosion damage and, as you mentioned, it's long-since GM-discontinued. The special seals, GM #10108689 are still available, though.
