    Corvettes at Carlisle

It doesn't look like Corvettes at Carlisle is in my cards this month so I thought I would put this out there for anyone willing to help me out.
I am still looking for the correct Borg Warner 4 speed transmission for my brother's tribute car restoration. I have seen a few but none that fit the car like I want them to. Wrong dates, not out of a corvette, etc.
For anyone going to Carlisle, I am offering a $100 finders fee for the correct transmission for the car.
Here is what I know about what I need.
The car was built on November 10th of 1961.
The engine was built November 4th of 1961. (correct engine)
I need an aluminum case (T10-C), aluminum tail (T10-D) Borg Warner 4 speed close ratio transmission dated before those dates, with-in three months, that came from a Corvette. So, August, Sept. or October 1961.
The original transmission for the car would have a serial number of (20867)S102550 on it. I know the chance of finding that are slim to none but ther it is. I am willing to take a correctly dated rebuilt or in need of rebuild for the car if the price is right. If someone is willing to search for one while they are at Carlisle, I would only ask that you get me a name and phone number or email so that I can contact the seller before he sells it at Carlisle. Nothing more would be expected of the searcher for the finders fee. I will take it from there. Anyone willing to look for me can private message me for my cell phone number to contact me with while at Carlisle. Those of you who know the story behind my restoration know how important this is to me and how I really want this car returned to as close to original as I can get it. Any help would be much appreciated.

      David,

Maybe I am reading your post wrong, but I thought serial numbers didn't start on 4 speed transmissions until 1962?
