    93 ZR-1 ABS/ASR Service lites

At approximately 34K miles, I noticed, upon hard acceleration, breaking, or cornering, the ASR and ABS Service lites come on. After turning the engine off, the lites remain off. Can anyone help me with a diagnosis, or has anyone had the same problem. Upon start up the lites are displayed for a few second and then go off. All seems normal until I go to hard driving or breaking.

Ed,it sounds like there maybe a possiable wheel speed sensor that maynot be working correctly,to dia. the problem correctly you will need a scan tool to pull-up the data stream to see the sensors working, also there will be a trouble code stored in the computer since the lights are on.

There is also a way to ground two of the wires on the ALDL connector under the dash,I don't have a shop manuel but I believe that the termnails are A&H.just use a short piece of wire and and strip it back aliitle to make a connection between the 2 wires, the ABS lamp will start flashing, count the flashes, each long flash is( 10) and each short flash is (1) example 3 long and 1 short is code 31.

There maybe one more way ans that is sometimes the autoparts stores will give your computer and free scan, generally I believe that auto zone is one.
