    67 Corvette Paint Code

Would anyone know what colour 001AA identified on the Trim Tag is for a 1967 Corvette?

I don't have a picture of the trim tag but I have viewed it. I was asked to verify what colour that code was for and so far have not been able to cross reference a colour to this code.

The Trim Tag Paint Codes for the ten (10) standard colors were all 9xxAA.

I've heard of cars leaving the factory in primer as special orders. Maybe that's what this paint code refers to? Just a guess, and others will know for sure.

In 1967 the Camaro Indy Pace Car of which two were produced for the event, the Trim Tag has a special paint code of 0-1 which was Clear over Ermin White. If this 1967 Corvette Trim Tag has 001AA what colour would the car have been painted and is it a Copo order?

            Tony -

That myth has persisted for years, but it's incorrect; no '67 Camaro ever got clear in either the Norwood or Van Nuys paint shops. See the thread in the '67 section at:
