    Proper Windshield Stamping?

NEW to this forum, hope I'm posting properly...
MY issue: I just purchased a new windshield for my 67 roadster. It has the LOF Logo etc. and I had it date coded too [Auto City Classics]. My question is... should it read properly from the OUTside looking in or from the INside looking out? I called Auto City Classics and was told that Corvettes could come through either way when new AND that they do it the way NCRS wants it done. MY windshield reads properly from the INside out. it just seemed more logical to me that it would be the other way around, however I really don't know. My old "PPG" windshield did read opposite my new one, however I don't know if it was the original. So, does anyone know what is right and what NCRS will accept as correct? Thanks for any help.
PS:If it's of any use here is my em address dougfairbanks@optonline.net

Here's a picture of my original 1965 windshield and it reads from the inside.

Mine too. I think your distributor got it right the first time.
