Probably a donor car or a used part - that reveal molding/seal retainer isn't reproduced.

Every now and then you'll see a post on the various forums from a vendor asking what parts we'd like to see reproduced that aren't available; that part would be pretty close to the top of my list. If it was made correctly, they'd sell a bunch of them.

I may have seen one at the Auto Fair in Charlotte last April, but I don't remember for sure. There was vendor from either Pennsylvania or New York who had an extraordinary amount of used/junk C2 and C3 parts. I don't remember his name, but he was quite a character. I asked him for his card, but he was out. I've had good luck finding vendors by contacting the group who put on the event. The Hershey people are really helpfull, but I have'nt delt with the Charlotte people. You might want to call them and try to find out who this was. There were only four or five used Corvette part vendorsthis year, so he should'nt be hard to track down.
