I am installing the rear bumper brackets, this is a early car with old style brackets using 3 1/4 in. bolts, where do the body seals go to seal the bracket area, in the trunk area or from under the car? Also does the pitman arm touch the steering stop when you turn all the way left and right, mine will not hit the stop. Thanks _ Rick,

Re: 1958 questions
Rick, assume your 58 has the metal cover plates held down with clutch head screws? The seal was slid onto my early 58 bumper brace, installed after the body drop. I believe for it do any good it would be on the bottom side instead of in the trunk side.
