    1967 Bb 435

Hi, looking for a little help, the problem is my gas gauge doesn't work. The car has Top Flighted on 2 occasions but now having this problem.
Where should I start to fix this, some what handy but not a mechanic.
    thank you Dave

99% of the time, the sending unit or the wire connections to it.

If cleaning the connections as Wayne has suggested doesn't solve your problem, you can clip-lead a potentiometer (100 ohms or so)in place of the sender and see if the gauge deflects as you turn the pot. This will prove out the circuitry from the tank to the gauge, if the indicator moves.

Also make sure the ground wire is a good connection.
