I read, WITH GREAT PLEASURE AND PRIDE, the recent words of our Judging Leaders. The influx of counterfit cars is a growing cancer on our hobby. The very practice of having cars judged to facilitate a hi priced
sale of a car is not in the best interest of our orginization. The practice of counterfiting a car for the same reason is extremely distasteful and criminal in most states as FRAUD.
I am glad our orginization is moving positively forward to stamp out this practice. I hope this data base of counterfit cars is made available, at least, to the membership. This would hopefully prevent a member from getting STUNG on one of these counterfit cars.

I'm all for trying to expose/disqualify counterfit cars. I just hope great care is taken to not suspend and tarnish an uwitting owner victim who knew nothing of the counterfitting.

I also find it interesting that some could interpret this as a move by NCRS to "authenticate" certain identifiers on cars.
