re fender rack help

I don't want this crack to go any farther. Would resin and fiberglass patch on inside lip of fender work ?
Any advice would be great

That crack will not go any farther if you will quit hitting it with that tire.

Sorry, but I was wondering if there was some option or aftermarket "rack" out there that I wasn't aware of. Sorry about that Wayne, hope you hear from some good body men. The picture does, however, illustrate why we larger radial tire users go up and down driveways very carefully.

It looks like it's the left front. That's a big crack for the front, average for the rear. Wayne is correct that the crack probably won't get any bigger. It has "turned" and in my experience when they turn, the tire has created enough flexing that only the broken section will flex. Of course, hitting bigger bumps can make it a little larger, but not much.

I would not reinforce it from behind. It would not last. The solution is to grind out the crack and do a proper repair, and put tires that fit on the car.

Otherwise, just leave it alone or clean out the crack and put a little touch up paint in it to make it blend in.
