any good Auto paint store can make you a can of spay paint in any color you want.

Bob, you can also take that paint, thin it and put it into a rechargable aerosol can that you charge yourself. I have one from Harbour Freight. All that you need is a small air pump to charge it.

Did you know GM offered touch-up paint for all years , even today ,I got one for my 06 Corvette. These are from the 50's.

Wow,
That is really neat about the spray cans from the auto paint stores! Can you tell me how long you need to let the paint cure before you do any buffing, etc?

My local Carquest store has made me some custom colors in spray cans over the years.
For the 62 down argent silver (whatever color that is) oil filler tubes I had a nice color specially formulated-drop more tint here, drop more thint there, to appease the judges. Well not that long ago one of those cans decided to start spraying all by itself. Luckily it did not damage any customers parts, etc but it sure made a mess. Whew!!!!!
