Caught A Wave Today.....

from a C-6 owner. Not to bash ANYONE but this was an unexpected surprise today. I RARELY get the wave from the newer generation owners here in N. Illinois but was very nicely surprised! Beautiful blue, just flying by......Ahhhhhhhh, yes!

I've never gotten a wave from a C-5 or a C-6 owner. I gave up waving myself since they never returned it.

I drive my 94 every day to work and just about every day I pass a C6 and we wave to each other all the time. it makes my ride to work a little bit better

the only time you will get a "wave" will be if the C-5/C-6 owner is a corvette owner from the old days like me. a lot of C-5/C-6 owners these are their first corvettes

I wave from the Z06, but often on the Interstate with the windows up and the AC on I suspect it is next to impossible for the other driver to see the wave. I rarely see them waving.

Although on the Road Tour leaving Nachville we had several waves from a Torch Red ZR1 with Tennessee plates. Of course there were about six of us (C5 amd C6s), making it hard to miss us. He traveled with us for a while, then moved on. We saw him again in the Bass Pro parking lot.

I have a 98 Wide Glide...Anniversary model paint and serial numberd....I've always been a vette guy and that made it easy to get a Harley...a lot of commonality there....I just had to get older and into my second childhood.

I know driving my 55 few people know what I'm driving , and yes I get many waves driving my 08 road king , even driving my 55 Corvette bike in town.

I generaly get a wave from all corvette drivers. Some new drivers don't know about the wave. they will eventualy come around.

How about the single finger wave from old Mustang owners? What's that all about?

Just kidding. I believe it is more common to get waves from any classic car owners, specially when you're out and about among the natives. It's like a special bond for each of us knowing we're risking our prized and valuable old cars in traffic. Kinda like a friendly face of a comrade.
