Pass Along a Request

An engaged couple (NOT me) in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Texas area are having a hard time fulfilling one aspect of their upcoming wedding plans. I thought I would pass along their request:

Okay, so I know this might be a far stretch, but I know it never hurts to ask. I'm getting married on August 28th and I need a C1 or C2.

I just sold my Corvette and I discovered that my fiancee' has her heart set on having us drive away from the church in Bedford to the reception (Southlake Hilton Hotel) in a special car. It's just a few miles up the road if you're familar with that area. It would make our wedding day for this wish to come true.

We ARE offering payment and you would be welcome to join us as a guest. It's a huge wedding. I'm not a reckless person. We have looked at antique vehicle rentals but no one we can find has an older Corvette. Feel free to point me in the right direction if you know something I don't. We are in the DFW area. You'll perhaps have better luck if you send your note to Phil Pitalo, Texas Chapter D/FW Area Coordinator and ask that he send it to Chapter members in the area. How about them using your red car?

Tell them to check the local vintage/specialty car dealers. They might be able to work something out with the dealer.
