neutral safety switch

Hi folks. Im trying to see how to connect the switch linkage to the tranny lever but I cannot tell exactly how it connects to the tranny lever in Nolands book. Is there a clip or something that attaches to the trany lever??. Please dont say its another special lever only on 54's or Ill shoot miself! Thanks for the help. By the way, anyone have the small switch rod?

Mary jo's catalog has a good pic of your linkage assembly. I bought my switch linkage and special clips from her.

The safety switch "rod" goes into the trans sifter arm that has a HOLE then a clip like used on some Carbs.
Yes ! it's a special lever on all cast iron PG's 53 to 61
