'68 on eBay

I'm still on the hunt for a C3 to fill the empty spot in the garage. I ran across this eBay listing for a non-running 1968 in need of work but pretty well original. Given the documentation and originality is this car worth the opening bid price in it's current condition?

First, it's a '68. That means lots of one year only parts and problems. Secondly, no pictures I could see of the undercarriage, so frame rust is an open issue. Secondly, just the issues that can be seen add up to a few thousand dollars just to get it back on the road, the non-functional A/C is a real scary item. I'd keep looking if it were my money.

Love the 68 and it's unique features. I have a 68 390 horse. For a non-running small block in need of restoration, you can do better. By the time you are done you will be upside down. The 350 horse is a nice motor. I saw a real nice NCRS top flight, 350 horse coupe change hands in the twenties recently. It belonged to an NCRS member who posts on the Forum. Your money would be better spent in this market to find a finished car.
