From the Feb 1969 AC Cable and Casing catalog:

Kinda confusing; for 1957 Corvette (Powerglide & O.D.) ??? overdrive ? If using a cable kit [cut to original factory length -- can re-use original casing], the catalog shows 63_5/8" as overall finished length [from tip to tip of square-end flexible cable], or, 1_1/8" longer than the casing, as defined by the length between the bell edges of the upper and lower ferrules.

Now if you needed cable AND casing, you'd order universal type CC-207, with 67_1/8" overall finished length [casing 66"]. This is 3_1/2" longer than factory original (I think), but the next shortest service cable/casing assembly (the CC-206) is 61_1/8", or too short.

No mention of 3 speeds.
