1962 Ignition Shielding kits- What one?

Hello,

I have been looking at a number of ignition shielding kits for my 1962 (carb) vette. Are they all the same and manufactured to match the originals? Any recommendations on what kit to get (i.e. what company to purchase it from)?

I would go with Corvette Central unless you can find someone willing to part with an original set on the forum. I believe the originals were chrome plated and the repops are stainless. If you will not have car judged it doesn't matter.

I have some original pieces of the overall shielding, such as the top, and verticles, but they are in rough shape. I may be able to clean up the top cover with lots of buffingh to look good, but the rest is not so good.
