    58 Corvette Seat Frame Removal

    Hi Guys,

I'm trying to remove the seat frames on a 58. Unfortunately, the seat tracks are rusted stuck and will not move. I have the front bolts off on both sides but cannot remove the rear bolts to remove the seat frames. Any advice how to do this?

    Thanks,
    Dave

Use 50-50 mix of atf and acetone (or your favorite penetrating oil) to soak parts for a while then use a hammer against a block of wood to move the tracks without damaging them. It works. They nearly all rust.
