    Shifter knob removal

    Can someone help me with taking off my shifter knob on my 89. (automatic) ... Does it un screw or is there a clip someplace or something else ... Im new at this so Im learning,,, thanks df

      Hi Doug:

      I believe you pop the shifter button off and you'll see a snap ring under there !!

              Take a little screwdriver and gently pry it out.
