    Oily residue - exhaust manifold

Just removed the engine from my '64. 327/300hp. The engine was rebuilt 7 years and maybe 500 miles ago. Took the exhaust manifolds off and found that cylinder #8 has a slightly oily residue where the head meets the manifold. The other 7 are the and have the carbon residue one would expect to see. Any ideas what could cause this? Poorly fit rings? Thanks.

valve guides or valve guide seals is my guess, as long as it isn't burning a bunch of oil, don't worry about it.
