Odd 63 jack or not a Corvette jack at all ??

I was just forwarded this picture from a 63 owner. He just bought the car and wasn't sure of the build date. He described the car a mostly original and bought it from the past owner who had it for years.

The picture you see is the jack and handle from this car.

I have not seen a jack like this in any 63 or any other Corvette for that matter. Is it one of those unusual items, or is it just an old jack out of who knows what ?? Any thoughts ??

Tom, the only other car that I recall that didn't have bumpers that would support the older style jacks in the 60s was the corvair. It certainly looks like the typical gm corvette style lug wrench and gm style screw jack.
