    Screw ID help needed

Need help identifying the two screws in the below picture. They are chrome plated, 1/2" long and with a pan head phillips drive. The heads have a recessed area on the face suggesting they are forged. I suspect carpet screws behind the seats or glove box door latch screws. Any help would be appreciated.

I've seen these used on the radio side panels or kick panel carpet retainer area. Don't believe the glove box latch comes into play.

They are radio side panel screws. Flip one upside down and if the are original (and by the head shape I can tell that they are not repros) you will see a very distinct star pattern on the flange.

        Rich,
The fasteners appear as you indicated. Sounds like the radio panels are it. I had thought that all radio panel locations had a phillips screw with a separate bezel? Were the screws I show used in all four locations (LH & RH)?
        thanks,

Yes that is what I have seen on most original cars. On very few I have seen convertable hinge cover screws used. They look similar but have a smaller flange and longer threads.
