    Ron,

The u nut on the left is off a 67 BB for sure. The one on the right is unkown to me. I looked at a few 67 original cars at Bloomington and saw that there was a common attaching bolt (WB) on all the original cars. There has been some discussion on if the bolts have points or not. The cars I saw did not have the pointed end. This should be the same bolt that holds the radiator support. Look in the front wheel well to determine what headmark is. 1965 Big block u nuts were different and again original exampples actually had hex nut and RCS bolts (non pointed) If you look at the part number it is the same as the bolts that are used to hold the under car exhaust hanger and bolt from the hanger to the muffler.

P.S. Where did you find them?

      Keith,

I am told that the left clip is 67 and the right is 66.

They both were on the fan shroud in my 66BB car that is a "67 numbered assembly per the 67 AIM".

I have since found these on entirely different shrouds that are reported to be 66-67 that have differences.

I plan to add to an existing post on that specific topic this evening.

        Keith,

Separate discussion on the attaching bolts.

Everyone in NCRS loves WB bolts - but that does not make them assembly line correct for 66 in particular. There are some in the fastener business specifically that believe WB was being phased out, you'd tend to see WB on earlier 1960's cars and not so much by the late 60's.

I have original WB bolts on my car, but not on the shroud.

the assembly line part 122007 in 1966 was used in to attach the head light pencil braces, the rad shroud, the rear cap on a 427 rear sta bar and if you had through exhaust the hangers.

There is a good chance on a somewhat original car that some of these bolts would be untouched, especially the hard to get at sta bar to trailing arm and pencil braces.

Second if you were assembling in one cell with RSC and two steps down the line had to pop two more, I bet the bolts were made by the same supplier in a given time frame. Sure there could have been a run short and grab a different box, but that is the exception - not the rule of modern day manufacturing.

Given that I have seen RSC's in these positions on 6600 ~ 20500 VIN 1966 cars independent of block and these are un restored cars.

On the shroud attachments - I had one E pinch point and figured it was wrong. However there is one of our NCRS friends here that has a very late un restored car and all 4 of his shroud screws are the same E grade 5 dog points. Those were used all over the front end, splash shields, hood hinges, etc and if there was a shortage on the front end trim line... These would have been a good option to keep the line running.

          Keith,

Update on the bolts, yes, my rad support is secured from inside the fender well with WB bolts. I re read what you wrote and I think we are n the same page there and yes the shroud bolt was also use for rear exhaust hangers if the are was so equiped.
