    67 engine bay fiberglass paint

I did a coupel of searches here and am trying to confirm what I think I understand from the searches and from looking at the evidence on my car:
    • The fender skirts are straight forward semi to flat black
    • The firewall is the same from the plenum grille down to the top of the floor pan joint and the floor pan is un painted (fibers showing)
    • the inner fenders above and around the "gills" are... black?
    • The heater cover is natural no paint
    Am I close???

    Jim -

Yes, you are. Everything underhood (inner fenders, firewall, radiator support, and the hood inner panel are semi-flat black (same sprayer, same paint); the coverage around the inside of the gills varied widely, depending on how far the blackout sprayer felt like bending over.

Hi Jim, believe all the blackout was done at same time soooo, it should be consistant.

Thanks John, IS the eastwood Chassis black satin or the old John Deere blitz black OK or are they way off?

I think the eastwood chassis black spray might have a little too much gloss to it. I never used the JD product but have read only good things about it. Have fun at the BBQ don't play with fireworks.
BTW I used the old formula of Krylon.
