KH Knock Off Repos

Has anyone had a look at the new (August 2009) "retooled" KH knock off repos that are now on the market? Any comments? I don't know who makes them, but Long Island Corvette Supply sells them here: http://www.licorvette.com/Aluminum_w...orvette_c2.htm

Any comments or thoughts would be appreciated.

They're not originals, but $2400 would be a lot easier to swallow than $10K.

Yes, I saw them last fall and they are very nice. They are NOT made by KH and they ARE made in China. They are distributed by Corvette America AND Long Island Corvette Supply probably won't be able to deliver until this August. In a discussion with Corvette America they stated they are out of stock and expect a shipment in August for Corvette Carlisle.

Looks like the high-priced help overlooked [ie. retained] the safety / anti-theft (take your pick) pin slots in the adapters, and opted for the red/blue/white color order as you scan clockwise on the stationary center emblem. Fins and rims look nice, though .
