Used camshafts

I have 2 used camshafts 1969 350/350 & 1969 427/435 are they worth keeping or do people buy new ones?

Since both of those camshafts are currently available from Federal Mogul and other manufacturers for no more than about $150, yours probabaly have little intrinsic value.

But if they are not worn they could be worth a fortune on ebay in 30 years. Even, today, there's probably a sucker who might bid big bucks for an "original" GM high performance camshaft, even used.

I saw Zora's camshaft lamp in another thread here. Maybe you'll be inspired to build your own. I was sorta thinking about it, I have a L72 cam with wiped lobes. There's not much else I could do with it besides mount it to the wall.

Well you could oil it up and lay it on the bed to cover the wet spot -- as Zora is reputed to have done.
