    1967 427 hood

Does anyone has a good picture of the underneath of an original 1967 427 hood? I just had my hood stripe repainted and I dont think the emblem pins have been done properly . A nice up close picture would help . I could be mistaken but Im a little nuts about my car. Thanks

I'm at a loss... what do the emblem pins have to do with the stripe? Are you asking how the nuts should be installed?

Any help from these? Both are original hoods. One on left is BowTie car.

As shown in the photo, "zinc" color with dum-dum sealant inside the nut.

As in Gary's pic, production speed nuts were black phos with black Dum-Dum.
Pins remained wih exposed chrome, as both were installed after blackout.

Thanks Mike, I stand corrected. I didn't look at my car, only the photo. Mine are indeed black oxide nuts. This is also stated in the Judging Manual.
