What tire for a Sept 15th build St. Louis 1956?

Does anyone know exactly what tire would be correct for a September 15th, St. Louis build, 1956 Corvette?

I see the judging guide states 3 different brands with whitewalls ranging from 2" to 2-3/4".

I incorrectly ordered a 3-1/4" whitewall from Coker that thankfully is on back order for 2 weeks. I want to cancel the order and get the correct whitewall width.

Based on the production date and assembly plant, can anyone please tell me what brand would have been originally on my car?

So I ended up just changing my order to the Firestone Deluxe Champion 2-11/16" which is just shy of the 2-3/4" allowed by the JG.

I did a search and really couldn't find info on what assembly plants used what brands during what months of production so I just gambled lol.

Now I just gotta figure out how to remove the DOT info from the inside with a file or something, ha!

Wasn't September 15th a Saturday? Didn't they have the weekends off at that time?

Yeah I noticed that when looking at the calendar in my JG last night. I was just going by what the C1 registry said, I guess I'll update it to the following Monday the 17th.

All '56 were built in St. Louis. What does your judging manual say regarding brand, size and other details?
