    Dale Smith OEM Glass

It has just come to my attention that Dale Smith, owner and founder of OEM Glass passed away June 18 after an accident loading a tractor. Dale was past president of Bloomington Gold and a friend of many Corvette owners.

    May he rest in peace.

One of the truly nice people in the Corvette World. Dale will be missed by those of us who knew him.

Sorry to hear of that. One of the fondest memories of my youth was watching Sox & Martin and Red Alert lining up on the two-lane in front of Dale's farm. I'll leave it to your imagination what happened next. Those were the days.

It is interesting that there was no mention of Dale's passing at Bloomington Gold. Thanks for keeping us up to date Joe.

Took my broken 57 windshield and frame up to Dale and he installed new glass while I watched..shortly after he started OEM Glass.

Super guy and will be missed.

Dale was the epitome of a true gentleman. I had the pleasure of sharing many good meals with him, attending the parties at his shop in Bloomington, counting him as a good friend, and doing business with him.

May the Peace of the Lord be with you old friend.

Or the year with Dale in his Sox & Martin Cuda and Arnie "the farmer" Beswick in his Tempest. What a show. Good times, and good friends

Well that was what passed for my youth. No gray hair back then. You don't want to hear about me in the '60s.

If you can remember the 60s, you weren't there.

Dale helped me with knowledge and services many times over the years. God Bless him and his family.

                          Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, Red Alert!
This year at Chevellabration during the drags, my 70 conv was matched up with Red Alert on my second pass. You can guess how that turned out!!!! Red alert was aleady at the finish lights before I got to the 60ft!!!

Let's not go there. Save the rest of that for when you guys post about my passing. Maybe I will set it up so you can post some of those pictures after I am gone.
I have been to so many wakes lately I am thinking of planning for my future.

Mean time this thread is to honor Dale, so let's stick to it.
