1958 Corvette Wheel Paint

Hi Guys,

Can someone post a picture of how a 58 steel rim is supposed to look. The NCRS manual says silver on the outside and black on the inside with no overspray. Anyone have a paint code for the Silver? Or what does it look like? Rallye wheel argent silver?

Nice meeting you and Pancho at BG this weekend. Thanks very much for the pictures. Any chance you have a paint code for the silver? And please confirm the back side is semi gloss black.

Also I think Dan sent you an email this morning about some 61 details.

Nice meeting you and Dan as well. I didn't get a chance to answer Dan's questions....

The pictures of the '58 wheels should work for Dan for the '61. Both are dog bone, welded wheels. I will have to pull out my '61 jack and take some shots.... It will take a few days.

ps '58: Backside is semi gloss, my paint codes are for Spies Hecker paint. Not useful unless that is what you are spraying. I believe codes are available in Dupont & PPG on the internet and from your paint supplier.
