68 back on the road-fuel & wiring question

after many years of letting my 427/400 HP t-top sit in the garage. i have started to get it ready for the road. I am getting rid of the tri-power (tired of all the fuel leaks from center carb) and going to a 69 390 HP intake and qjet set up .. of course i need to change the fuel lines, air cleaner, PCV valve, hose, and the list goes on .. but ran into an interesting issue . that is the throttle cable, cable support brackets at the firswall edge of the intake and of course throttle return spring ... what did I miss here? does anyone know if they are differnt tri-power to qjet? what parts do I need and where can I get them. pictures would be great.

the other thing I notcied (didn;t before) is my car seems to be missing a fusible link at the starter for feeding the 12 volt acc circuit .. OOPs what should be there?

thanks in advance for any input ..

    Dale -

Your '68 should have a 14-ga. brown fusible link wire at the big battery cable stud connection at the starter, with a molded cylindrical splice where it becomes a 12-ga. red wire that ends up at the screw terminal buss on the horn relay.

if the fuel leak is internal just block the the heat riser cross over in the intake manifold to prevent the gas from boiling in the carb.
