1969 washer pump/motor

I just purchased a 5044731 (1969) washer pump/motor at a swap meet for $20 but it has a five-port pump (one nipple is broken). I thought 1970 was the first year for the five port pump and the motor was something like 5047758. Could the 1969 motor been in use early 1970 production?

The GM #5044731 was an ASSEMBLY that included the washer pump. So, by definition, it includes the 3 port washer pump. I have no information that it was used for early 1970, but if it had been, it would have included the 3 port pump. The motor component of the assembly was the same for both 1969 and 1970, though.
