    1963 Corvette block?

    I was at a swap meet this morning when I came across a bare block that had a tag on it that said '1963 Corvette block, $300'. It had these numbers on the pad: 3119538 F0709RE. Research shows it to be a 327/340. I could not locate the seller. Anyway...here is someone's 1963 Corvette block.

      is the cast # a 870. is it standard bore.
