Hope to see lots of Vettes on the roads. And also remember to "Save the Wave".

Re: Reminder Memo: Tomorrow is National Drive your Vette to Work Day
I drove my 66 SB roadster to work today - with the top down in both directions. It was a stunning day for the 43 mile drive to work and a beautiful afternoon to drive home. Saw several Corvettes along the way and waved at all of them. Most waved back but it's awful hard to tell on the C5s and C6s with the tinted glass!
It's supposed to be stinking hot tomorrow but I may just have to drive it again in honor of the day.

I normally save my Vette driving for Saturdays and Sundays (early) when there are fewer whackos on the roads. Saturdays are cruise in days. I might make a short exception today.

Re: Reminder Memo: Tomorrow is National Drive your Vette to Work Day
Nice day in New York. A tad warm for BBs in stop and go to work traffic.
I put one side of the T-Top down, back window out and radio on. I had a nice ride. I am talking about when I was young, when it was just my car, my transportation, me. When I was so much younger then than now.
I drove this same route for many years with this car.
Today, it made my day. I parked at my spot, my colleagues at work came out "Ken's brought his toy to work"
All day I looked out the window of my office to make sure it was still there, smiling.- Top
