The black door panels on my '07 C6 have the same issue, especially from use on the driver's side. Usually I just use a damp cloth to wipe it off, but it comes back quickly and looks like crap against the black.

Check this out http://www.decongreeninc.com/RETAIL/do-it-yourself.html The white substance might be something else but I suspect it to be some sort of mold or chemical weeping out of the vinyl. Regardless, this spray works on both and is eco-friendly and non-toxic. Cars sitting for long periods of time can turn into a science project very quickly.

I have it on my 08 coupe with black interior. It is aggrevating to say the least.I use regular old Armorall on it and it works better than anything else I have tried but it doesn't last long. Tom

Paul, When I had my Ebony interior C6, I kept a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser handy when I noticed the white residue or whatever it was appear. The Magic Eraser took it off easy enough and it didn't reappear for a while. Jim

The Chassis guy gave me plenty of "exposure" on Friday.

Yes, there was a good deal of "exposure" there Friday. Some of it, more pleasant than the chassis guy, made the afternoon almost tolerable.

Thanks for your help. You got away without my having a chance to congratulate you. You did a fine job.

Thank you. It seemed to go well - though there has GOT to be a way to speed up Tech. Hopefully I was a good "stand in." I think I understand the system, as I was not "last man judging" on each car and did not get bogged down.

Joe showed up with his "new" (to him) carb + floor mats for the orange car and with only 30 min left of the show time I had to get moving.

I went and briefly saw the Great Hall, borrowed my other friend's hotel room for a shower, went to dinner and then drove home.
