Cad Plating in Rhode Island

Hi,
Anybody have a good recommendation for a cadmium plater in Rhode Island or nearby for some 63 parts?

I can't help you with a plating shop in RI, but down here I've had excellant work done by Frankford Plating Inc. And they ship in and out UPS everyday. I've had zinc, cad and really nice chrome work done by them.

Frankford Plating was a disaster for me... Had many large chrome pieces done. (About $6000 order). Had to send some items back 3 TIMES to get them right. This process was over 2 years before they were completed. Maybe I'm too picky.... but when I pay the prices I expect quality work. Shipping was terrible... promises of "we'll ship tomorrow" turned out to be many months. They had my money so the incentive was gone "to do it right".

For Cad/Zinc etc. I recommend Steve Gregori in Calif. Quality work, and good turn around, fair price.

I'd check their references carefully. I had a friend who had NU-Chrome do many pieces for his motorcycle and it was a total disaster.

B-N Plating in Ohio. You can contact Don Nock at 937-228-2963. He did work for me and I was satisfied with the results.

I used Nu chrome and had to return the same part 3 times and finally drive 2 hours to point out the rusted nut on back they kept missing. Took 8-9 months to get C3 bumpers done.

When I lived in Mass. I used TDF Metal Finishing. Now located in Danvers Mass. 978-223-4292. Good work and zero lost parts

Hi,
Thanks to all who advised. I received another recommendation from an NCRS member and elected to try out the company. I sent the parts to Palm Beach Aircraft Propeller Inc. They had the parts 2 weeks and did a great job on the cad plating. They have a website and do fine work, on time, and at a fair price.
