1964 vette 2818 holley fuel inlet treads stripped on the carb body

1964 vette 2818 holley fuel inlet fitting treads stripped on the carb body, so I can't tighten the fighting into the carb body. Does anyone know if this can be fixed or do I need to find a replacement part?

You might try Holley's web site to see if they sell any repair kits like that. I once bought a carburetor from a junkyard for parts and it looked like it had had some kind of fix made to the stripped out threads, but I couldn't tell if it was some kind of purchased item or bubba had done it.

some carb repair places can heli coil them but some holley bowls do not have enought material to do this.

Thanks for the tip, I was able to order the primary fuel body for 2818 at Summit Corvette parts, hard to patch a pressure gas line....problem resolved
