There has been discussion in the past about rally wheel silver-green paint. I just noticed paragon has paint listed in their 2009 cat., page 169, @ $79.00, the type (spray can or pt./qt.) is not described. Paragon is closed today but I will call for more details this week. Has anyone checked out this paint? Steve

I THINK this paint is that manufactured by OEM Paints and which has now been discontinued by them. This may be Paragon's remaining stock of it. It will be good to find out for sure, though, so please post what you learn when you call them.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: Paragon sells Silver-Green Rally Wheel Paint
If this is the same OEM paint that used to be sold by OEM directly I was very unhappy with it as well. Bought some a couple years ago, at about $35 per can, and it contained virtually NO green tint at all. Looked like plain argent silver to me.- Top

Re: Paragon sells Silver-Green Rally Wheel Paint
If you are looking to match the paint on your wheels the best bet would be to take a wheel to your local paint retailer, have them do a computer analysis of it, making sure their scope is calibrated correctly and have them mix up a quart or so of a good single stage enamel, flattening it by about 20%. I did that and was very pleased with the results. Plus, it will be more chip resistant and last much longer than a rattle can paint job.Kurt Geis
