Hello all,
I did a search and found a posting that had this exact same title but alas the pictures have been deleted out of photobucket so I'm still trying to find out the correct installation of the accelerator ground strap on a '67 427/390hp car.
I found a picture of a small block in the AIM and it shows the base of the ground strap being placed directly above the intake manifold, then the radio shielding stand, and finally the bolt.
As for attachment to the accelerator lever, it is showing the little end of the ground strap being bolted to the outboard side (driver's side) of the lever.
Now to throw a wrench in things, the Long Island instruction sheet shows the big end of the ground strap on top of the radio shielding stand...
So, I'm pretty sure that the small end fits on the outboard side of the lever but I'm lost as to how the big end is attached.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Carl
