67 Harrison Foil Label - Need Someone With Correct Typewriter

I need to get my Harrison Foil label numbered correctly but don't have access to the correct style typewriter. Anybody got one so that I can send the label to you and have you type the number for me? Probably easier than mailing the typewriter to me Thanks.

I have my Mom's Sterling Smith-Carona typewriter. Not sure of its maufacture date, but it's been around since the 1960's. I vividly recall typing school papers on it well before 1967.

Let me know if this works for you.

      Kirk,
Is the font used on the foil tag an issue for judging? Most typewriters will more than likely be either Pica or Elite font.
      Best regards,

I thought these labels were printed via Teletype. I don't think anyone recreates the TTY font set...

Also, WAY BACK in the 70's we printed similar foil labels for the computer products we manufactured at Texas Instruments. They were hand typed for a while using IBM Selectrics. BUT, there was a 'special' ribbon used to make the ink stick in the depressions in the foil created by the impact...

I've tried using a Selectric to 'wack' out these reproduction labels and the standard ink cartridges simply will NOT fill the impact depressions with ink. I've tried a number of office supply and typewriter supply distributors. The best I've come up with is a few good ole boys who remember the application buy have no earthly idea where you'd go to get that kind of ribbon today!

I'm wondering if you couldn't use India ink in the typed letter depressions? Pete

We've had some posts in the past where people stated what typewriter and font to use. Just can't remember. I know it won't be perfect, but I'm not sure what else to do.
