    Alternator Question

Is this the right alternator for a 69 350/350 no air? The car was made in July 69. Thanks Joe

    Re: Alternator Question

That is definitely not the correct alternator for a '69 Corvette. I cannot find any application for that alternator, which by the part number, is a very early unit, with the alternator part numbers starting with 110000* at the beginning of production of the Delcotron.

As Dick mentions, it's definitely not an alternator part number for which there's any record it was used on a 1969 Corvette. Are you sure that's the part number? I can find absolutely nothing on an 1100111. Even the date coding does not look right. There should be an alpha character.

I can find numbers on both side of that number, but in the D/R big book of stories, that number does not exist

According to the 1969 Corvette assembly manual the base alternator was # 1100859. Early models may have used the 1100833 alternator. Both alternators are 42 amp.
