Packaging for Eye Brow Trim Part

Guys, I am trying to get the Eye Brow Trim Part that goes across the front of the dash on my '56 ready to take to Al Knoch for recovering. They asked me to pack it into something to avoid damage and they would ship it back to me when they are finished with it. I am wondering what sort of shipping containers some of you may have used to ship your '53 to '57 Eye Brow Trim part for recovering? I looked into PVC. The part will not fit in a 4 in diameter tube. The PVC tubing I looked at went from 4'' to 6'' and the price went up exponentially. By the time I put ends on the 6" tube and purchase the glue to put them on, I am looking at about $100 for the container. I have so far not been able to find a cardboard tube either large enough in diameter or long enough for the part to fit in. Before I build a container out of wood, I thought I would ask what some of you have done. Thanks in advance! Brooks Glover (2141)

Why not call them for advice as to what they do.
