I'm putting my repo bolt-on KO's back on my 64 but I'm not sure how tight to make them. These are the look like knock offs but attach with nuts on the studs and then the center ring and three eared retainer get put on. Anyone know how tight? 80 lbs? 90 lbs?

Re: Torque spec's for repo bolt-on KO's
I have AFC repro KO's, 65 lbs was torque on the lug nuts in the instructions. Don't know about other brands though.

I don't see why the nuts would be any different than AIM factory torque specs, ie. 55-65 ft.lbs (both for standard steel wheels and the long KO nuts for the adapter). That is, as long as the nut has the same bevel (see KO nut, in pic below).

Will, As with new all alum. wheels, I would re-torque after driving 400-500 miles, they will tend to re-seat after driving. 55-to 65lbs is not alot of torque.but would go with the 65lbs.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top
