Capacitor?????????????????/

A capacitor wire broke in my 69 vette and I am lost on where to find one and what it does. Capacitor p/n is 801249 with DR and .5MF and is found on page 436 in the CAM item nbr 10. Would also like to know what this capacitor does and where I can get one?

Kevin, please understand they are all for noise suppression in the radio. If you want to, you can live without them. Bill.
