    66 PB mounting nuts

Below are the mounting nuts from my standard brake system, would these be correct for the power brake booster or are common hex nuts used instead. And since the bolts used are cad/zinc plated, how about the finish on the nuts?
    Thanks
    Pete

The nuts used to mount the standard brake master cylinder to the firewall and those used to mount the power brake master cylinder to the power brake booster were the same. However, they were not a flanged nut as you have pictured. They were a standard hex nut used in conjunction with a lock washer. Flanged nuts are rarely, if ever, used in conjunction with a lockwasher.

The nuts used above the master cylinder to secure the upper studs of the support assembly to the firewall were flanged nuts, though.

      Peter,
      the "Zincad" finish is fine.
However, production fasteners for securing both Std. & PB master cylinder used the common hexnut with split washers.
Not the "Collared" washer head style in your pics, those are the same configuration as those used on the "U" bolts at the crossmember for the downpipe/exhaust pipe connection (different size).

        Mike & Joe,
Thanks for the info -That is what I thought would be the case but now I'm curious about where those nuts came from. The original owner parked the car in the garage when the master cylinder seal quit and didn't drive it again (sat for several years before I bought it).Who knows maybe it was rebuilt long before the last failure.
Anyway thanks again to both of you for the help over the years,
        Pete
