    Corvette Rubber Weatherstripping

Has anyone used Corvette Rubber weatherstripping for the convertible top? They say it is the premier manufacturer of rubber parts for the corvette. Does anyone know if this is what Al uses in his kits? Thanks.

Located in Northern Michigan, we manufacture the highest quality American-made restoration weatherstripping for Corvettes. When you count on quality weatherstripping for America’s favorite sports car, you can count on Corvette Rubber Company.

Kirk, have used Corvette Rubber on my '64 driver soft top and it worked well. Don't know how well it will Judge. Understand that no one reproduces a correct soft top header weatherstrip. They're hollow, where as the originals were reinforced in the middle to keep them from collapsing. This can cause a gap at speed and let bugs and rain in. One of our members came up with the idea to run a 1/4" piece of rigid foam down the center hole in the reproduction weatherstrip and that would maintain the rigidity of the seal again the windshield. Kirk,
Used them on my 66 and had no issues to complain about.

            Kirk,
I ordered weatherstripping for the 67 from one of the vendors (I believe it was either LIC or Wilcox) and I'm pretty sure it came from Corvette Rubber, had I known before I could have bypassed the middle guy. As others have mentioned I've not had any issues with it.
