    1956-57 Fuse panel stamped 806 or 822 ??

Does anyone have a picture or drawing of the stamping identified in NEW 56-7 Judging manual Interior Section 10 under wiring that states fuse panels are stamped 806 or 822 ???? Tnx in advance Jim S.

    Jim,
My 57 has a round "Delco Remy Made in USA" stamping in the middle of the mounting flange between the two mounting holes, and "806" stamped above one of the mounting holes near the bend.
The stamping is very light and I don't think it would show up in any photo. I had to put it under light and used an eye loupe in order to read it, but then again my old eye balls don't see all that well any more either. I have mine off the car right now and I could try a photo if you think it would help you. -Dan-

      Hi James,
I am attaching a few pictures of the fuse panel from my 57 5 star bowtie car.
Pictures are pretty clear and should show what you are looking for.

          Dave,
My car was also a black base engine 220HP Powerglide car when new. Only 610 built this way. #4122 - on or about May 21 birthday. Unfortunately mine lost its virginality in 1962/1963. Silver coves, red interior, power windows, power top, radio delete. Presently trying to restore it to some of its original glory. But engine/trans/ power top are gone forever.
