I would like to know if anyone on the DB has utilized Classic Radiator located in Farmingdale, Long Island for repair and/or recore services and what was your experience?

If you have an aluminum radiator,the only right choice is a new reproduction radiator. Can't recore aluminum. Give Dewitts a call. http://www.dewitts.com/pages/categor...ts.asp?catID=1

It really isn't worth the battle for copper either by the time you get done its about the same as buying as reccomended here, less the greif or risk of bad solder job to old crusty metal.

Hi John. I agree with the earlier post that DeWitt's is a good option for a new radiator. I just put in a new DeWitt's in our 66 and it's running 35 degrees cooler than previously.
