I have exhaust leaks (noise leaks) on both sides where the tail pipes join the header pipes, right in front of the cross-member. The u-bolt clamps are torqued down as tight as possible, and the joints are tacked in a couple of spots. I tried some exhaust joint and crack sealer, but that did not work. (Sealer applied after pipes were joined) I know the muffler shops can swedge the female side of a joint, but can they work both pieces to get a better seal? Suggestions?
