    Beautiful day on Long Island with some beautiful cars






    1953 car #100




    The one I wanted to take home the most was this split window fuelie





    Also really liked this 69 427 with survivor engine compartment




    And of course the midyears










    Duntov


    Even an old drag car


    I showed my 73 454 in Sportsman




    I debuted my fleabay find front plate


    And my reproduction rear plate


    Matching this picture from the day of delivery 37 years ago

      Looks like you guys had a great day, any way to post the pics a bit bigger? The cars look gorgeous, but a little hard to see for my middle aged eyes...

          The "33" on the Iowa plate indicates the county number. In this case "33" indicates Fayette county, the county seat is West Union, Iowa. Don H.

                          Thanks for the shots. Reluctantly, I do not think we met. I was judging chassis on the 68 and two 69's. Our board did a great job getting the show together and picked an excellent weather day!

                              I was there, judged exterior on 67's....a good time was had by all.
                              There was a very nice siver/silver 396 coupe there...never seen one of those before...

                                  Your absolutely correct, that silver 65 396 is a beautiful car. Side pipes and all!

                                  Bill - That 63 Fuelie is actually a non big tank Zo6 too. I know the owner and the car well. It is truly a sweet piece and very original.

                                      Bill, thanks for posting these great pictures. There were a great mix of beautiful Corvette's at the meet. Perfect weather, great people and lots of Corvette's made for a memorable day. I am glad I was able to have this event in my location as a yard full of Corvette's is much nicer than a yard of building materials!
